Taste of Calgary™,
the city’s premier festival celebrating international foods and
beverages, takes place for its 14th. year
at Eau Claire’s Festival Plaza. Visitors indulge in sample-size
menu items at sample sized pricing, from Calgary's finest food and
beverage establishments. Listen to live music presented through the
day by a variety of local musicians.

Promotions is the Festival Producer and has extensive experience in
producing successful events and festivals. Over the past 19 years
the company has produced major events like: A Taste of Calgary, The
Calgary International Food Festival, and The Calgary Corn Festival,
Leisure Shows 91, 92 and 93 and Winefest 93-2007.

organizations benefit financially from Taste of Calgary.

of Calgary Marlborough Teen Resource Center providing social
services to Calgary's youth,
Raise a
Reader Program,
Calgary
Chinese Services Assoc. and the
Calgary Saracens.
In many cities
around the world, food and beverage festivals have become a part of
the city’s summer culture. These festivals present an opportunity
for families and consumers of all ages to enjoy a unique culinary
experience in
a community festival atmosphere. Not only do outdoor
food festivals add to the quality of life in the community, but they
also have significant economic impact.

Where:

The Festival Plaza at Eau Claire is located on the west side of Eau
Claire Market in downtown. The site, designed for festivals and
major events, has ample space for booths and entertainment, easy
access for pedestrians and vehicles, and most importantly, has the
perfect atmosphere for this event.
What:
Food - 30 restaurants (46 booths) with a
variety of international cuisine. Sample size portions.
Beverages - 20 unique alcohol beverages -
in an AGLC regulated environment. Sample size portions.
Entertainment - Local and name musicians
will provide on going entertainment all weekend on our Main

How:
Admission to the festival is Free
Tickets are $.75 each - available at the event
Menu items range from $.75 - $ 4.50 and are paid for with tickets.
Maximum number of tickets for 1 menu item is 6.
